Lucky Culprit (Clyde)
Lucky Culprit (Casanova) is a 4year old dark bay gelding by Lucky Pulpit out of the dam With Some Luck. He traces
his pedigree to some of racing greats such as AP Indy, Mr. Prospector, Pulpit, Cozzene, and Triple Crown winners
Seattle Slew and Secretariat. He is so big at 17hh that his care givers first named him "Clyde" for Clydesdale.
Casanova named so because of his flirty and romantic ways with all the ladies that visit, is a giant of a horse. Standing
17hh he reminds one of a Clydesdale. He started out as quite a useful race horse with great promise. As a two year old
he sustained his injury when another horse
slammed into his leg in the first turn during the Gold Rush Stakes and he snapped
the sheath that holds the tendon over the hock. He was given a full year to heal and the scar tissue had by that time stabilized the tendon. He
was then put into training but showed signs after a couple of works that racing is going to put too much pressure
on the scar tissue and thus he was donated to Neigh Savers to be trained for a second career. He was cleared for the
walk trot by our vet a couple of months ago and can now walk trot canter. He will not be a show jumper but he should have no other limitations.
Casanova is located in the Sonoma County area. If you are interested in visiting him please email firstname.lastname@example.org Casanova has no sponsors and would love to have you
make a tax deductible donation towards his care.
Clyde has been adoped by our good friend and Neigh Savers volunteer Mary Sue and is living the life at a beautiful equestrian facility. Clyde craves attention
and is the almost like a son to Mary Sue and Patrick. What a lucky lucky culprit this boy is!!!!
