Lake Havens is a three year old gelding who is still a maiden and had only one start. He is by Lake William and his grandfather is Salt Lake.
Lake Havens is 16 hands and currently has a chip in his ankle which will require about six months off. After he rehabs from the chip he will be able to perform all disciplines. He is a very good looking boy, very dark brown and almost black in coloring which makes him a standout.
We evaluated Lake Havens at Los Alamitos and discovered he is a real love bug. He allowed us to approach him right away and then flirted with us to give him a kiss on the muzzle within the first five minutes. His current owner and trainer says he should have time off to completely heal the bone chip before he is retrained but definitely feels he would be a good candidate for a dressage performance horse.
Lake Havens has been adopted out to a riding school. They are very happy to have him as he has an extremely outgoing and easy to be with personality in addition to being a beauty and in sound condition. Racing was not his game but at the riding school he will get lots of attention and a whole lot less stress!
